ASIA-PACIFIC AWARDS COUNCIL NAMED MAYOR MAMAY “MOST TRUSTED MAYOR AND PUBLIC SERVANT ADVOCATE OF THE YEAR”

Nunungan Mayor Marcos Mamay recieved multiple awards as outstanding achiever in the recent Asia-Pacific Excellence Awards event as Most Outstanding Trusted Mayor and Public Servant Advocate of the Year, ACSR Government Municipal Mayor and Seal of Good Governance and Public Service Advocate of the Year and APEC Gold Medallion awardee conferred by the Asia-Pacific Awards Council held at the Orchard Golf & Country Club Hotel, Main Lobby & Theater Hall, City of Dasmarinas, Cavite.

The ASIA PACIFIC EXCELLENCE AWARDS (APEA) is a prestigious Asian tribute to outstanding consumer products & companies, as well as outstanding achievers like government servants bestowed by the Asia Pacific Awards Council.

The awards were recieved by Mayor Mamay as recognition for his  outstanding achievements in the field of government service as town mayor in the municipality of Nunungan. The  APEA is a way of motivating  outstanding achievers to maintain their excellence thru public recognition particularly those countries within the Asia Pacific Region like the Philippines. He is the only mayor from the entire region who recieved the said award for this year.

Lanao del Norte Governor Imelda Dimaporo has been very vocal on challenging all town mayors in the province to show their best on peace and economic upliftment efforts in their municipalities.

Mayor Mamay is  known for his oustanding performance maximazing his time and effort even as first-termer in emplementing monumental projects for the people of the town of Nunungan and his effective skills in solving family feud or “ Rido” of Maranao residents .

Mamay leads as an effective leader in his far-flung  yet bountiful town. Nunungan can now be considered as most fast-growing municipality of Lanao del Norte province with the effective implementation of various sectoral interventions under his administration such as the  circumferential roads connecting the coastal towns of the province. Economic and new opportunities for the locales with follow because of these macro projects.

The national government through President Rodrigo Duterte with the help of the provincial government continue pouring support to Nunungan because of good leadership of Mayor Mamay with assurance that all projects and programs would be implemented effectively for the general welfare of the people the mentioned town.
