Nunungan Mayor Marcos Mamay expressed his elation to the officials of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) for bringing to his town its program dubbed as Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay or NSB.
Mayor Mamay said the DTI successfully distributed the following items per business owner; 1 box (100 cans) family sardines, 1 box (48 cans) corned beef, 1 box (48 cans) beef loaf, 3 sacks rice and weighing scale (10kg) usable for their daily activities.
“Even this time of pandemic our government agencies like DTI have been working well for the welfare of the people especially for Nununganians,” Mayor Mamay lamented.
According to DTI officials a total amount of 7, 847.45 pesos’ worth of goods were successfully handed over to every recipient.
The NSB is a flagship program of DTI bringing government services closer to the people through partnership with relevant local government units. Through NSB, people are oriented of business opportunities as well as their consumer rights and responsibilities.
