Municipal and barangay officials including LGU employees of Nunungan attended the celebration of 59th Araw Ng Lanao del Norte. This is ensure that the town residents are very supportive of provincial activities like the foundation anniversary under the leadership of Governor Imelda Dimaporo.
Commemoration of Araw Ng Nunungan also falls in the month of July the same with province, but the town officials ensure their active participation in Sagayan Festival competition and other events held at MCC, Tubod town.
Meanwhile, the officers and members of League of Municipal Mayors Lanao del Norte Chapter headed by Lala Mayor Allan Lim also attended the civic parade during the culmination program held at the Mindanao Civic Center Gymnasium.
Governor Imelda Dimaporo elated with the presence of municipal mayors and said that “this year’s Araw Ng Lanao del Norte celebration is the best although it’s simplified in terms of number of activities”.
