TUBOD, Lanao del Norte – Nunungan Mayor Marcos Mamay, the National Vice-President of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines for External Affairs formally attended the Lanao del Norte Provincial Development Council (PDC), chaired by Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo, convened on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the Kalimudan Multi-Purpose Building, Provincial Capitol Compound, Pigcarangan, Tubod, to discuss various provincial development concerns.
The meeting also paved the way for the DPWH to thank the municipalities of Lala and Tubod headed by Mayor Angel Yap and Mayor Jimmy Cabahug for donating 1 hectare of land each for the establishment of the 1st and 2nd District Engineering Office.
Also during the meeting, DICT Provincial Director Owieda Smith presented the Free Wifi for all programs of the department and the availability and connectivity status of the Free Wifi Project in Lanao del Norte. He said that by the end of this year, 128 locations and 144 access points in the province will have free wifi access – 21 public schools, 2 State universities and colleges (SUCs), 20 plazas, 3 hospitals, 26 rural health units, 36 barangay halls, 12 municipal halls, and 1 public market.
