NUNUNGAN MAYOR MARCOS MAMAY LEADS ANOTHER RIDO SETTLEMENT

Another dispute between 2 warring clans was settled led by Mayor Marcos Mamay together with the Office of the Sangguniang Bayan and Philippine National Police (PNP).

The said Rido settlement was held at the at Nunungan New Government Center on November 27, 2023. The Rido was between the family of Sobo Alamada and Dilabayan in Municipality of Nunungan who both voluntarily agreed and approved to amicably settle to put an end to their conflict.

Mayor Mamay, on the other hand, earnestly asked for the continuous support of every family in the municipality and said,“ no matter how competitive a leader is, without the support of his constituents there will still be no progress ”.

“Nunungan was formerly known as the rido capital in the province. As such, we are putting all our efforts in solving these disputes to further develop our municipality. As we all know, there is no progress without peace,” Mayor Mamay added.
