Nunungan Mayor Marcos Mamay was surprised to receive a certificate conferred by the Katipunan ng mga Artistang Pilipino sa Pelikula at Telebisyon, Inc. (KAPPT), also known as the Actors Guild of the Philippines, during the recently conducted Call for Unity and Thanksgiving Event held at the President Grand Palace, Ongpin St. Manila on May 22.
The said event was attended by some of the very well-known actors, actresses, and dignitaries in the industry headed by the Guild President, Camarines Sur Vice Governor Imelda Papin, and Vice President Ricardo Cepeda Go. Spotted during the momentous occasion were Baby Go, Gen. Wilkins Villanueva, head of PDEA, Ricardo Cepeda, Jay Manalo, Jeffrey Santos, Pilita Corrales, Eva Eugenio, Dulce, Anthony Castelo, Jobelle Salvador, Rey Solo, media friends, Phil-Chinese Volunteers, other movie workers & stuntmen.
“As a patron of Filipino Movies and friend of the press, I am very happy that the KAPPT gave me this recognition. Thank you Actors Guild,” Mayor Mamay said.
