The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) – Lanao del Norte, through its Officer In-charge Noel Saldajeno led the distribution of 32,000 Tilapia fingerlings to beneficiaries in the municipality of Nunungan, Lanao del Norte.

The activity was successfully conducted with the presence of Governor Imelda Quibranza-Dimaporo, municipal and barangay officials of Nunungan headed by Mayor Marcos Mamay and other stakeholders.

BFAR has been implementing programs that helped much in achieving the productivity and betterment of fishery sector not only in coastal areas of the province but also those from the remotest communities.
