NUNUNGAN, Lanao del Norte – The Department of Interior and Loacal Government 10 (DILG 10) successfully turned over the newly constructed 500 sqm Cultural Center to LGU Nunungan, Lanao del Norte on February 11, 2022.
Amounting to P9,653,250.00 total grant, the newly constructed cultural center shall now provide shelter and venue for the community to conduct their events, festivals, and local activities.
DILG Regional Director Arnel Agabe and DILG Provincial Director Bruce Colao personally graced the ribbon cutting and turnover ceremony of the project that was funded under the Local Government Support Fund – Assistance to Municipalities (LGSF-AM) program. This program of the DILG seeks to equitably assist all municipalities in the delivery of basic services by providing financial subsidies for the implementation of priority programs and projects.
“This cultural center will truly help our residents in many ways. Delivering basic services to the people of Nunungan will be much easier now that we have our own ample space,” Mayor Mamay said.
Also in attendance were the Nunungan Municipal Local Government Operations Officer, SB members, Punong Barangays, and other stakeholders.
