Incumbent Mayor of Nunungan formalized his bid for reelection two days before the deadline set by the Commission on Elections to all candidates to file their Certificate of Candidacy or CoCs for the May 2019 mid-term elections.
Equipped with best platforms like Good Governance, Peace and Unity, People Empowerment and Tourism Development, Mayor Marcos Mamay filed his CoC along with other PDP-Laban Party official candidates held at the Municipal COMELEC office in barangay Masibay.
A caravan swells with more than 200 vehicles of Mayor Mamay’s supporters showed their support going with the administration line-up to the COMELEC office.
Mayor Mamay gave thanks to all Nununganians for being objective and pro-active in supporting his quest to develop their town. He likewise stressed that the support of the provincial officials is instrumental to the alleviation of the living standard of Nununganians.
“My first term answered already your wishes and dire needs like roads, solar lights and others. I will continue my mindset that “time is precious” and will never wait for tomorrow what I can do for best of my people today”, Mayor Mamay assured.
