The municipality of Nunungan through the leadership of Nunungan Mayor Marcos Mamay recently hosted an Islamic Awareness activity with the well-known Impact Speaker Salima Pumbaya as “Kaka Sally” with husband Shiek Nasrodin Pumbaya.
“The activity was a chance to let the Nununganians know more about what Islam is, amidst lots of misconceptions around what it is, what we believe and who we are as Islam believers,” Mayor Mamay said.
The guest speaker shared her message so well with active participation of the audience comprised of families and friends of Nununganians who internalized and recognized the message of the gathering that is all about love and peace.
