TUBOD, Lanao del Norte – Regional Development Council Region 10 (RDC-X) Chairperson and Lanao del Norte Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo, on September 4, 2023, led the first provincial roadshow of the Northern Mindanao Regional Development Plan (NMRDP) 2023-2028 at the Kalimudan Hall, Provincial Capitol Compound, Tubod, Lanao del Norte.

The NMRDP spells out programs on achieving robust economic growth and poverty alleviation and attaining its vision for Northern Mindanao as an international gateway, leading agricultural hub, and major industrial, tourism, and trade center in the Philippines with empowered citizens enjoying comfortable lives, and sustainably harnessing the region’s agricultural and natural resources and cultural assets while living in a harmonious, inclusive, smart, safe, and resilient environment.

Following Governor Anggings lead, the Sanggunniang Panlalawigan, headed by Vice Governor Allan Lim, League of Municipalities in the Philippines-LDN President Mayor Marcos Mamay; Representatives from the business sector – Mr. Roseller Suico Fiel II, the academe – LDN Schools Division Superintendent Edwin Maribojoc, and the vulnerable sector – Federated PWD President Diodie Alota, conveyed their pledge of support and commitment not just to the NMRDP, but also the national development goals and priorities.

We, the citizens of Lanao del Norte, commit and bind ourselve to continuously support and put into action the development blueprint and strategies laid out in the Northern Mindanao Regional Development Plan (NMRDP) 2023-2028, especially in bringing forth inclusive, sustainable, resilient, and transformational development in the region.
