The Local Government of Nunungan, through the active leadership of Mayor Marcos Mamay, joins the national celebration of Women’s Month.
With the theme “We make change work for women”, the LGU Nunungan spearheaded a tree planting activity and Zumba right beside the majestic Nunungan Lake.
The said joint activity was attended by various municipal offices like the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, Rural Health Unit, and the Philippine National Police (PNP).
“Through this, we want to show our deep appreciation to the efforts and achievements of women, especially our Muslim sisters,” Mayor Mamay said.
