The local officials of the municipality of Nunungan headed by Mayor Marcos Mamay are determined to implement more road projects for Sitio’s and barangays of the town to attain 100% accessibility for local residents and tourists who would visit noticeable spots like Nunungan Lake and the remaining forest of Mt. Inayawan.

It can be recalled that Governor Imelda Quibranza-Dimaporo during her recent visit in Nunungan conducted free services through PGLDN’s flagship program – the Especial Mass Based Program (EMBP) and announced the information that the provincial government would soon conduct big event like mountain climbing and others, so the need of completing road networks from the center of the town connecting to its barangays is indeed imperative.

“Kailangan ayusin natin ang network ng ating mga kalsada para mas madali lang para sa mga bisita o turista na makapunta at makagala, “ Mayor Mamay said.

To date, there are ongoing concreting of alternate roads in barangays Petadon, Panganapan and Masibay with approximate amount of 70 Million from the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP). Likewise, rehabilitation of roads and bridges also in the pipeline status.
