Through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) X, the Local Government of Nunungan successfully conducted a Social Pension (SocPen) Payout for Senior Citizens on October 25, 2021.
Assisted by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Ms. Corazon L. Villondo, together with her staff and MAT Team, they catered to all 25 Barangays of the Municipality of Nunungan.
“Dako among pasalamat sa DSWD og kay Mayor Mamay kay mas napadali ang proseso sa pag claim sa among pension. Dako kaayo ni nga tabang sa amoang matag-adlaw,” one of the elederlies said.
On behalf of LGU-Nunungan and all the Senior Citizens, Municipal Mayor Marcos Mamay thanked the DSWD for the aid and concern given to his constituents, especially the elderly.
