It is not surprising that “people” are considered as the bedrock of any organization, especially in the local government units. Thus, local officials in the municipality of Nunungan headed by Mayor Marcos Mamay considered the importance and the power of people management in driving forward LGU plans and programs.
“We really believed the power of partnership and team working as elements of achieving effective governance. Stellar people are developed by supporting and empowering them,” Mayor Mamay explained.
Recently, the LGU of Nunungan conducted a year-end get-together with municipal elected officials, Deped teachers and national agency representatives held in Iligan City. Part of the event was the discussion of priorities for this current year 2020.
