Nunungan Mayor Marcos Mamay expresses his profound sense of elation for the support of the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte headed by Governor Imelda Quibranza-Dimaporo by sending a team of experts to help craft fitting interventions for tourism and agriculture development of his town.
Governor Dimaporo suggested to form an “Inter-Agency Team” who would formulate a certain plan for Nunungan. They visited Nunungan Lake and witnessed potential areas of the town especially to communities with vast agricultural lands devoted to farming.
The group conducted a “focus meeting” to air out their recommendations with the presence of DILG Provincial Director Bruce Colao, Provincial Tourism Officer Ms. Alerma Yorong, Ms. Bulhing Dela Cruz, and Ladi Tabanao of ICI.
Also joined during the team visit to Nunungan town were Edgar Gillamac and Ava Magnolia Yancha of the Business Sector, Philippine Information Agency, Media Partners, Stakeholders, and other participating agencies to share ideas in boosting tourism.
“Thank you so much Governor Angging Quibranza-Dimaporo for sending your staff in Nunungan to discuss important matters relative to the development of the town,” Mayor Mamay said.
