Nunungan Mayor Marcos Mamay meets with the senatorial candidates of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-LABAN), former Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo, Reynante “Rey” Magat Langit, Usec. Aztra Moon Naik of the Department of Energy and the veteran actor Robinhood ‘Robin’ Cariño Padilla as they visited and paid a courtesy call to Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza Dimaporo on Thursday, December 9, 2021.
The courtesy call was held at the Governor’s Office, Provincial Capitol, Pigcarangan, Tubod, right after the party’s caravan that started at Sultan Naga Dimaporo.
“We are very pleased that these future leaders of our country visited our province, and I am hoping for a strong partnership with them,” Mayor Mamay said.
The meeting also paved the way to closely discuss various plans and programs of the National Government and the projects each will implement should they win the 2022 senatorial elections.
Mayor Mamay also took the opportunity to share the progress of the Municipality of Nunungan since the beginning of the term of President Rodrigo Duterte and said, “Whoever is the next president, may he/she continue what PRRD stated for the betterment of Lanao del Norte and the whole Philippines.”
