TUBOD, Lanao del Norte – The working committee of the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte and the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) convened on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, in preparation for the Launching of Mount Inayawan Range Natural Park (MIRNP) as an ASEAN Heritage Park.
Atty. Mark Christopher Babor, Provincial Administrator and Legal Officer, presided over the meeting in the Provincial Administrator’s Conference Room.
Samer Ambola, PENR Officer, along with Saibem Mampao PENRO-Technical Service Division Chief talked about the long progress, criteria, and timeline of how the MIRNP came to be one of the country’s ASEAN Heritage Parks.
“This has been a long dream of our Provincial Government leaders. After MIRNP passed the criteria and has gone through a long nomination process, we are now ready to launch with your help in the program preparation,” Ambola said.
