The Local Government of Nunungan Lanao del Norte, headed by Honorable Mayor Marcos Mamay, joins the Peace Dialogue held at Alsons, Maranding, Lala, with the PNP Provincial Director PCOL Isaias Bacurnay Jr on June 15, 2021.
The primary purpose of the dialogue was to highlight the developments in the peace processes between the government and the people of Nunungan and find solutions to peace and security concerns that need to be addressed, particularly at the community level.
Mayor Mamay, with his municipal officials, was delighted to be given a chance to talk with the Provincial Director and other PNP officers and be able to strengthen the partnership for peace-building through dialogue.
“The PNP plays an essential role in maintaining peace in the Municipality of Nunungan. It is high time for us to emphasize the importance of our joint undertakings and continue working towards building a more harmonious community,” Mayor Mamay said.
