Provision of relief goods to residents affected by the enhanced community quarantine due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has become a challenge to most of local government units (LGUs) nowadays, but in the town of Nunungan, Mayor Marcos Mamay confirmed they are rolling out their third wave of relief operations to all barangays.

“We are on the third wave of giving support to our constituents and we would like to extend our profound thanks to all the provincial officials and employees led by Governor Imelda Quibranza-Dimaporo. I’m sure PGLDN family did its best to ensure that every family will receive sufficient support,” Mayor Mamay noted.

The provincial government successfully delivered trucks of goods intended for distribution to all barangays of the town.

The official reiterated Nununganians to heed the government’s call to strictly observe stay at home until the ECQ will be lifted maybe in the next coming weeks.

Meanwhile, LGU Nunungan also finished disinfecting vital structures such as the 3 in 1 Health Facility, Nunungan Evacuation Center, school buildings and others.
