Nunungan Mayor Marcos Mamay led a Muslim prayer during the opening program of this year’s Northern Mindanao Regional Athletic Association (NMRAA) Meet held recently at MCC Sports Complex, Tubod town.
Mayor Mamay delivered in the midst of mammoth delegations of athletes and coaches coming from five provinces and eight cities in the region.
The province of Lanao del Norte is the host of this year’s NMRAA also known as Palarong Pampook.
Also attended during the NMRAA opening were officials of the provincial government headed by Governor Imelda Dimaporo, 2nd District Congressman Abdullah Dimaporo, Vice Governor Cristy Navarro-Atay, Department of Education Assistant Secretary Salvador Malana III, Deped Regional Director Dr. Arturo Bayucot and Schools Division Superintendent Edilberto Oplenaria.
Deped officials were elated with the eye-popping student performances and a Fire Works Display courtesy of the provincial government.
