Just five days after local campaign formally started, Nunungan Mayor Marcos Mamay calls again for unity to all Nununganians and look into the competence and achievements of candidates for local positions come Election Day.
Mamay, the re-electionist for mayoralty post of Nunungan town believed that his constituency are intelligent enough to look of his performance during his first term as municipal mayor.
The kick off of Nunungan Provincial Rally signals the commencement of more than one month campaign period.
It was attended by Team Dimaporo provincial candidates headed by Governor Imelda Dimaporo with 2nd District Congressman Abdullah Dimaporo.
“We are one family as official administration party candidates under PDP Laban party, so we are here in Nunungan supporting for Mayor Mamay,” Governor Dimaporo said.
The proclamation rally was also attended by the members of Sangguniang Panlalawigan headed by the Vice Governor Cristy Navarro-Atay with the complete set of candidates for board member.
Municipal candidates for Sangguniang Bayan headed by Vice Mayor Jun Cawasa also attended the said activity.
Mayor Mamay has been a member of PDP-Laban party since 2016 mayoralty election and got the position because of majority support by Nununganians.
