Quran is the book of guidance for all mankind. Holy Quran is the 4th and last sacred book of Allah Almighty revealed on Prophet Muhammad. The Majesty of Allah’s verses is described in the Holy Quran itself. Allah says in Noble Quran: Say: ‘If the mankind and the jinn were together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another”.
In line with this, the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) in cooperation with the municipal government of Nunungan will host the 2019 Regional and Provincial Qur’an Reading Competition at the Municipal Evacuation Center, barangay Masibay with various Qur’an readers, both males and females originally scheduled this coming January 26 and reset on the following day (January 27, 2019).
Winning participants will represent the region in any national reading competition, according to Nunungan Mayor Marcos Mamay.
“We urge the readers to show your best in the competition and make it a habit of reading the verses of the holy Quran as frequent as possible and not only when reading competitions”, Sheikh Mohammad Alawi and NCMF Acting Director Sarah Lomondot Camama said.
