The Sustainable Livelihood Program staff of the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 10 led the payout for Livelihood Assistance Grant (LAG) under Bayanihan 2 in coordination with the Local Government Unit of Nunungan, Lanao del Norte headed by Municipal Mayor Marcos Mamay.
Beneficiaries of the Municipality of Nunungan received cash assistance and various gardening tools from the LAG Program.
LAG is part of the rehabilitation and recovery efforts of the government in restarting micro-enterprises affected by the health pandemic.
Mayor Mamay is thankful to the DSWD10 for giving such a wonderful opportunity to his constituents.
“I encourage the LAG beneficiaries to make good use of their received resources to cultivate their livelihood and support Nunungan’s local economy,” Mayor Mamay said.
