October 29, 2021. The Rural Health Unit of Nunungan, partnered with the Local Government of Nunungan, inoculated the first batch of Pfizer and Moderna at the LGU-Nunungan satellite office, Poblacion, Kapatagan, LDN.
Mayor Marcos Mamay urges every unvaccinated individual to get their jabs since these vaccine brands are both trusted brands from the US. Both the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA COVID-19 vaccines have been granted emergency use authorization by the FDA. Each is administered in two doses and is considered highly effective at preventing COVID infection.
“Do not hesitate to get vaccinated. It is for the safety of us all so that we can maintain zero COVID transmission in our municipality,” Mayor Mamay said.
