A partial settlement of family feud (Rido) between Kmod Family and Sanal Maruhom took place at Nunungan Satellite Office in Kapatagan town initiated by local officials headed by Mayor Marcos Mamay.
Dozens of clan feuds or “rido” that lasted for decades have been settled and ended over their quarrels and signified to cease bitter reprisals.
“These families ultimately decided to end their misunderstanding and embrace peace,” Mayor Mamay said.
“Nununganians realized the importance of lasting peace as instrumental for continuous development of our town”, Mayor Mamay added.
Vice Mayor Jun Cawasa and all Sangguniang Panglungsod members vowed to support the effort of Mayor Mamay in meddling clan conflicts.
