Aside from the buzzle of being a TV personality, an endorser and a model, Nunungan Mayor’s son (Angelo Carreon Mamay) now extended his time and services as an ambassador to various organizations.

He was chosen as Ambassador of Goodwill by the provincial government of Lanao del Norte through the Sangguniang Panlalawigan focusing on the advocacy and campaigning for education and helping the young populace become responsible citizens of the country in the future.

Likewise, the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) as part of the government’s drive to address violent extremism in the country, identified two personalities in the limelight as Ambassadors for Peace during a recent UNDP-NCMF happened early this year in Marawi City.

Quennie Padilla, daughter of Robin Padilla, and actor Angelo Carreon Mamay, are the newest NCMF ambassadors and the move in congruence of the program dubbed as “General Consultative Assembly for Muslim Youth in Marawi”. The presence and influence of the ambassadors is instrumental to Muslim youth communities.

BPCR Acting Director Cosanie Derongongan considered the Ambassadors for Peace as role models and inspiration for Muslim Filipino youths, in line with the Build, Build, Build PEACE Campaign of the NCMF.

Meanwhile, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Regional Office 10, has appointed its own Youth Ambassador who will assist in the promotion of technical-vocational education and training (TVET) programs in Northern Mindanao.

Mr. Angelo Carreon Mamay, was chosen for the role. He was formally introduced during the Acceptance Ceremony held at the office of TESDA Regional Office 10. TESDA X Regional Director Tarhata S. Mapandi led the ceremony, handing over the Notice of Appointment as TESDA X Youth Ambassador to Mr. Mamay. He is the son of Hon. Marcos M.
